teacherCommittee Structure

The interests and affairs of AEL are essentially handled by its committees.

AEL’s strength can be measured by the commitment of its members to active contributions to its committees. There is a place for every individual member skill-set, accumulated experiences, interest, and time available. Members are encouraged to get involved.

Like any formal organization AEL’s strength depends in part on the level of active participation of its members in Association workings. AEL By-laws are written with this basic tenet as their foundation. It is incumbent for all members to lend individual talents and experiences to AEL operations for the welfare of AEL’s overall mission and goal achievement. Some committees are essential for day-to-day operations. Others are needed seasonally, or when a specific event requires their active participation. Negotiations and legislation are examples.
