With the cooperation and support of the Board of Education certain payroll deductions are available to AEL members only. Most crucial are professional association membership dues.

By stretching professional dues over 26 pays/year the impact of having to pay them in one lump sum is greatly reduced. For several years, NASSP/MASSP, NAESP/MAESP and ACTE have been available via payroll deduction.

AEL member security is assured through a member-confirmed deduction authorization procedure. Also, effective January, 2007, new members of AEL who were members of TAAAC or other administrator associations have systematic transitioning support to avoid unnecessary double dues and other seamless benefits protections such as Sick Leave Bank membership.
